About this project ¶

I have been offering ongoing services for See Tickets, the UK's largest ticket agency, for several months. As well as some exciting developments to their main website, I have also developed branded online ticket sales solutions for a number of significant events.
 
Amongst the developments on the primary See Tickets website have been the development of a Content Management System enabling management, promoters and event management to provide up to the minute information in this fast paced industry, while simultaniously taking the strain of making these updates away from the company's IT department. I was also responsible for the development of the local listings section of the site, which provides a range of information on upcoming concerts and events based on the user's geographical region. While primarily automatically generated, this system also allows for the injection of content specifically tailored to a region, such as recommended events, as well as the possibility for exposure of local resources through sponsorship opportunities where a local promoter, venue or record store is able to serve their own content as part of a location's profile.
